Painter, I did not immediately accept this vocation which fills me with happiness today.
My maternal family includes several artists including my mother, her sister and her brother-in-law.
I first trained, in life drawing classes, at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris with James Bloede then Patrice de Chalvron. There followed a period of two years at the Cour Roland workshops where I practiced sculpture, cabinetmaking and painting. I then joined the Atelier de la Vigne d'Etampes and learned alongside Mr. Philippe Lejeune, Christoff Debusschere, Franck Senaud and Jacques Rohaut.
Today, I mostly paint alone or under the kind gaze of Alain Marie and I frequent the La Grande Chaumière workshop as much as possible.
The notable experiences of my life were, in addition to meeting the painters mentioned above, a month-long embarkation aboard the Dixmude, a ship of the French Navy. I left at the invitation of the Commander, Pierre de Briançon and Marie-Bénédicte Leroy, a painter friend from Toulouse. We worked a lot on board with a double objective: a sale for the benefit of the Social Works of the Navy and a donation of several paintings to decorate the corridors of this new Building.
Another event took a new turn on my life as a painter: in 2016, I went to Colombia for a month to meet my daughter, Clara Jaeger, who is making her way as an artist agent there. I had a strong emotional shock in this magnificent country where everything seems possible.
