Cécile Fauroux, photographer, began her artistic journey very early. A graduate of the BAC L option Plastic Arts in Mulhouse in 2013, she began her self-taught journey into the world of photography at the age of 14. Very precocious, she exhibited her works in professional contexts from the age of 16. At only 18 years old, she was the youngest member of the prestigious MacParis salon, where her photographs were noted for their remarkable technical quality, particularly in terms of light and framing.
With a boundless imagination, Cécile organizes her photo shoots in their entirety, from the script to the staging, including makeup, outfits and accessories. His sources of inspiration, often dark and very personal, sometimes draw from texts, films or songs. Her favorite locations for sessions are Mulhouse and London, where she spent three months at the end of 2013.
For Cécile, creating comes from a deep love for the world and a burning desire to understand and express it. She believes that her ability to touch and move the public lies in her ability to infuse this passion into every detail of her work. While remaining aware of the dark and desperate aspects of the world, she draws inspiration from the Romantic movement, which celebrates mystery, the fantastic and the sublime, while seeking escape in dreams. His processes of creation and inspiration are also similar to those of surrealist artists, who seek to free the unconscious and give way to strange and surprising dreams.
