Cornelis Zegers is a self-taught artist with a lifelong passion for creativity and exploration. His artistic journey began in his younger years, when he enjoyed illustrating postcards, books, creating posters and stickers. These early experiences nurtured his love for visual storytelling and laid the foundation for his future as an artist.
During his professional career as an IT specialist, he also found ways to incorporate art into his work. Despite the technical focus, the creative aspect was always at the forefront, providing a bridge between art and technology.
Over a decade ago he decided to focus more on his artistic passion, initially through drawing and painting. However, it wasn’t long before that he discovered the captivating world of printmaking, which completely reignited his creative spirit. Since then, he immersed himself in both traditional and experimental printmaking techniques, continuously pushing the boundaries of the medium.
