Caroline FOMBARON, Artiste peintre professionnelle, ancienne élève de l'Ecole du Louvre, a fréquenté les Beaux-Arts de Toulon où elle a vécu de nombreuses années, ainsi que des ateliers d'artistes reconnus du midi de la France (Baboulène, Ceruti, Mayer, Jouenne), avant d'exposer à l'international : (le Caire, Sydney, Nouméa, Nouakchott, Rabat, Londres, Beffroi de Bruges en Belgique, Palais Constantin à St Pétersbourg en 2015, plus récemment au Palais Rospigliozzi à Rome 2023) .
En 2011, elle reçoit à Paris la médaille des Arts-Sciences et Lettres ainsi que de nombreuses médailles et distinctions, notamment ;
– Médaille de Bronze de la ville de Lyon en 2017,
– Diplôme d'honneur au Salon des Arts d'Aquitaine 2018 Bordeaux-Blanquefort
– Prix d'Excellence au 33è Salon d'Arts plastiques à La Rochelle en 2019
– Mention spéciale du Jury au 2è Salon International 2022 à la Rochelle.
Fondatrice de l'association « Les Chevalets d'Argence » créée en 2000, elle se consacre aux cours qu'elle dispense en son atelier de Champniers en Charente tout en organisant des stages un peu partout en France et à l'étranger.
