Now a listed artist on the art market, painting and drawing have always been a passion of mine. I first discovered dry pastel at an exhibition by the painter Pierre Caro. His approach to transparency was a revelation for me. Around the age of 20 or 22, I exhibited my first creations. I then discovered watercolor through exhibitions and studio visits by the greatest watercolorists in Lyon. I realized then that this technique corresponded even better to my search for transparency, lightness, and light. A new passion was born. After attending several workshops, I regularly exhibited at exhibitions, fairs, and creative markets in the Lyon region and decided to share my passion with others in 2009 by giving classes for children and teenagers and creating an association, "La Palette Brindasienne," with the aim of promoting artistic culture and local artists. In September 2012, I had to move to Tournefeuille in the Toulouse region. So I tried to restart my artistic life and created a new, larger, brighter studio where I currently teach and try to transmit my passion to a little over forty students each week as well as workshops during the school holidays. In the south, I discovered a new technique, acrylic with a knife; a difficult technique but the challenge fascinates me. I like the possibility of playing with the material, with colors, of modifying reality to tend slightly towards abstraction. Acrylic allows me to "let go" towards more contemporary paintings, brighter colors and more personal works, to better express my emotions and my feelings. The subjects are often figurative, but generally tend towards abstraction.
