Carole Bouteiller commence l’apprentissage du dessin dès l’âge de 13 ans (en cours du soir aux Arts Appliqués) grâce aux encouragements de son père Jacques Bouteiller (Artiste-Cinéaste).
Celui-ci mettra à sa disposition tous les moyens matériels pour qu’elle puisse s’adonner à sa créativité durant toute son adolescence.
A l’âge de 18 ans elle réalise ses premières toiles à la Peinture à l'huile, grâce aux conseils de son beau-frère Gilbert Bourébia (Artiste-Peintre).
A l’âge de 24 ans elle entreprend une formation de danseuse qui inspirera la caractéristique de son style de peinture où « les ellipses se croisent et dansent sur la toile ».
En 1996 elle visite la Polynésie, et, comme de nombreux artistes elle succombe au charme enivrant de ce paradis terrestre et aquatique où l’atmosphère sereine et pacifique règne et illumine ses habitants.
Sa peinture révèle un monde ONIRIQUE où la vivacité des couleurs et la douceur des courbes donne naissance à un monde de « beauté colorée» qui la rassure et surtout lui permet de s’évader d’une certaine réalité .
Elle s'épanouit dans un style ABSTRAIT, EXOTIQUE et CONTEMPORAIN.
