The visual artist CARMEN POENARU - was born in Craiova, on march 30, 1964. Carmen Poenaru is a very talented and special contemporary Romanian painter appreciated by art lovers.
He studied at the Art Academy Ion Andreescu of Cluj Napoca. He is President of the Bacau Branch of the Union of Visual Artists from Romania.
In the summer of this year, he had a personal exhibition at the FormArt Gallery in Bucharest. The exposition name was Sacred Space and was presented by professor architect Augustin Ioan.
The works of painter Carmen Poenaru were exhibited between July 15-30 at the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant in Sala Acvariu as part of the Bucovina Colors exhibition, alongside painters such as Dumitru Macovei, Stefan Pelmus, Florin Sutu and Mugur Popa.
The work can be viewed in the gallery FormART Bucharest - bd. Gender. Gh. Magheru no. 18.
