La idea del juego está siempre presente en la actividad artística y este es un ejemplo de la alegría de siempre querer jugar.
Sánchez Maydana was born in Buenos Aires. He currently resides in the city of Barcelona, Spain since 2001, working, in addition to artistic activity, as an art teacher.
My work focuses on an inner search prioritizing silence and emptiness as protagonists, without words or concepts that can cloud the gaze.
An emptiness that is not absence, but a powerful presence in the midst of resounding silence.
Nature as a source, without purposes, accepting the purposes of chance.
The movement as an axis that brings together the elements, with acceptance of the impermanent, controlled spontaneity, the leading role of the line.
A call to recover a new humanism and lost spirituality.
