This work was inspired by my own tropical garden. I have used the inspiration loosely based on the exotic florals and foliage I have on the East facing garden in sub tropical Queensland. This work was inspired by my own tropical garden. I have used the inspiration loosely based on the exotic florals and foliage I have on the East facing garden in sub tropical Queensland. The garden grows against the home, which is Mediterranean in style, and features a palette of muted aqua blues with peach beige stone and render. This was the inspiration behind my chosen palette for 'Botanical Bliss'. The garden is blissful and has a sense of calm, which I wanted to bring through into the painting.
There are pops of texture against the flowing watercolour effect of the acrylic paint. Keeping it abstract and loose, but adding illustrations to prompt the viewer to see the botanical forms and features.

Carley is a contemporary abstract artist based in Australia. Paintings and Luxury fine art prints of Carley's creations are held in private and public collections globally.

Carley is best known for her large Canvas botanical abstracts, with influences from a tropical or coastal environment. Carley's love for the natural world, flora, botanicals and landscapes excites her artistic imagination . She particularly has a fondness for the Tropics and Australian Native Florals. Taking inspiration from the natural beauty surrounding her, or the tropical coastal lifestyle.

Carley works from her home studio, Sunshine Coast, where she emigrated to over 16 years ago from England. 

Carley has most recently collaborated with Melbourne based Gift Card company to produce three money cards of Mastercard, Eftpos and cash gift cards. She has worked with Australian and international brands collaborating to produce creations from cosmetic season packaging (O Hui/LG) , Milpali Swimwear, Sol Seeker luxury eco picnic mats, fashion brands Xyza Savannah, gin packaging for Covent Garden Gin company, and more.
