The edges are painted white, however the artist encourages and external floating frame in a natural wood to enhance the overall painting.
'Paradise Nights' was inspired by my love of both native and exotic flora and foliage. Here in Australia, Queensland, we are lucky to have the perfect climate to accomodate such a diverse array. From various Palms, and exotic tropical flowers, to cacti and succulents, surrounded by the common natives such as the magnificent Banksia's or flowering gums.
There are slight layers of flowing watercolour effects of the acrylic paint used. Then, thick applied textured paint to give interest. Keeping it abstract and loose, but adding illustrations with finer lines to prompt the viewer to see the botanical forms patterns and features of flora and a shoreline blurred together.
The sides have been neatly painted white if you prefer no external frame. All canvas's are high quality 450gsm Gallery Cotton with only professional paints and varnish used. Includes a certificate of authenticity. Images shown with external frame and hanging are for example only. This artwork is sent rolled for you to stretch.

Carley is a contemporary abstract artist based in Australia. Paintings and Luxury fine art prints of Carley's creations are held in private and public collections globally.
Carley is best known for her large Canvas botanical abstracts, with influences from a tropical or coastal environment. Carley's love for the natural world, flora, botanicals and landscapes excites her artistic imagination . She particularly has a fondness for the Tropics and Australian Native Florals. Taking inspiration from the natural beauty surrounding her, or the tropical coastal lifestyle.
Carley works from her home studio, Sunshine Coast, where she emigrated to over 16 years ago from England.
Carley has most recently collaborated with Melbourne based Gift Card company to produce three money cards of Mastercard, Eftpos and cash gift cards. She has worked with Australian and international brands collaborating to produce creations from cosmetic season packaging (O Hui/LG) , Milpali Swimwear, Sol Seeker luxury eco picnic mats, fashion brands Xyza Savannah, gin packaging for Covent Garden Gin company, and more.
