ENTRAÑAS forma parte de la serie de pinturas "Habitar". Esta serie surge tras sentir-pensar en las prácticas cotidianas de la artista los conceptos de naturaleza, mujer, habitar, cultura, hogar. En el proceso creativo emergieron reflexiones sobre las formas de conocer en la cultura occidental como la relación naturaleza-cultura. De esta última han sido centrales temas como la proto-arquitectura del mundo animal (nidos), la construcción hegemónica de cemento y plástico de la cultura contemporánea, la producción de materiales descartables en nuestras prácticas económicas, etc.

Esta serie tiene obras de carácter utópico e interpela mediante la pintura a imaginar nuevos escenarios y prácticas posibles de vínculos con la naturaleza.

Dentro de las piezas que componen esta serie encontramos un cuerpo que siente, en un entorno natural, toma el símbolo del hogar y lo coloca en la matriz, el útero.
Así como también casas que son emplazadas en árboles, a modo de nidos.
En otras obras la artista toma el proceso de gestación y parto para versionarlo en un modo animal, salvaje, presentándose como escenas propias de un realismo mágico.
Lo humano, animal y vegetal es presentado como un proceso continuo sin límites entre ellos. Revelando así, otra manera de vincularse, fusionarse, posicionarse, conectarse con nuestro hábitat, la naturaleza. Lo intuitivo desplaza a lo racional, y el habitar se torna natural concibiendo al mundo como un ser vivo en donde hay un fuerza que reside en todas las cosas.

De esta forma representar artísticamente otras maneras de sentir y actuar ante a los fenómenos de nuestro mundo ¿no será un estímulo para metamorfosear nuestros vínculos con la naturaleza?
