I developed my love of watercolors during our recent “lockdown”, when an on-line artistic presence hit the scene. Suddenly artists were sharing their ideas, making videos, posting their art. There was more time to devote to art. For myself, I took a headfirst plunge into watercolors and never looked back. They are unpredictable and sometimes uncontrollable, but those attributes only make it more exciting.
As a watercolor artist, I like to think my work can be described in 4 simple words. Landscapes. Seascapes. Cityscapes. Escapes. I invite the viewer to enter my 2D world, leave a little of their worries behind, and explore my scenes and subjects. Moody, joyfu,buoyant, but always I strive to make them intriguing.
