How many peacocks, almost narcissistically, do the dance of impression?
Because, the more the peacocks, the more we will need to face our own low-vibration selfish impressions towards others but especially towards ourselves, just because it is learned that way and passed as “normal” in our society.
It is a "mental pattern" of behavior that many of us have learned to apply from a very early age in our lives, in order to find the attention and care that we normally seek and want, but instead of actually giving it to ourselves first and foremost, we seek it from others.
Definitely not a useful behavior, because if someone must be impressed, is ourselves. The ways are countless ... if we really want ... Then, without any effort, whether conscious or subconscious, you "impress" in some way those around you, hoping of course and believing only positively ...
If we really want to move to a more improved and upgraded version of ourselves, we are called to move the otherwise beautiful "peacocks" out of our soul’s yard and instead welcome self-impression (= self-love) and humility.
The inspiration of this artwork literally began from one peacock feather I discovered in my workshop...and ended up to a bust on canvas. When I finished, I was surely "impressed" myself by the outcome!
I used acrylics, paper, sand, laces, gauze and of course my beloved ecological curing Powertex materials.
Thank you for the visit!

Fine Arts have always been present in my life in one way or another, but I guess they decided to settle for good and take over my daily life nine years ago when I discovered the ecological Powertex hardening materials.
So, since 2012, I am offering and sharing my love and experience of handmade sculptural decorative art and other decorative and artistic techniques with Powertex materials.
I am a Certified Powertex Master Trainer of "Master Degree Powertex" and a presenter of Powertex seminars from the "Arts & Creative Materials Institute ACMI / AP" and the Powertex Academy.
Hope you enjoy my artworks!
