Caalista is a Parisian artist who juggles several media: Painting, Photography, Digital Art.
She hunts for forgotten emotions, with her brushes, her tablet or her camera to create unique works.
Photography is her first encounter with art. For a long time, she was a portraitist of her friends but also a small reporter during each trip. When she takes a photo, she tries to tell what touches her.
Painting came to him by accident, a compulsive need to write down one sorrow then another, then his joys and pleasures, a therapy in color! "When I paint, it is first my emotions that I try to release, I choose my colors as if I were shopping, I observe them at length, then I launch myself without a specific goal and I let the magic of the materials wander on the canvas, I integrate inks, pigments, objects and I inscribe the relief.

Digital art allowed her to mix all these media to give birth to the world she dreams of, more colorful, more psychedelic, more surreal. Caalista navigates between two worlds. Her universe evolves around Soulages, Pollock, Richter, Dali, Klimt but also Bashung, Gainsbourg, Bowie, etc.
