Bubols's paintings move from figurative to expressionism, moving between the objective and the contemplative. The figure deconstructs itself, as if it wanted to represent itself in another way, changing its essence. From there arises a challenge, an endless search, in the face of the unknown. Individual task that involves living, discussing, denying and accepting. Just like time that simply passes, in a single sense, sometimes fast, sometimes lost. The works address different situations of human issues, facts of our day-to-day, of our living, of our personality, as we face doubts, anxieties, virtues and defects with the awareness, or not, of these conflicts, which are translated by wealth endless being. There are as many questions as there are searches for answers. We fight against our undesirable thoughts, the fruit of our nightmares, in an eternal battle to adapt our desires and desires to our reality. Difficult to accept that often, part of the solution involves acceptance of yourself, passing through doubts, despairs, euphoria and dreams. We prefer the illusory virtuosity of perfection, the result of the non-conformity of natural defects. A blind struggle, which converges in indignation, loneliness, doubts, annoyances and sweat. Exercises, sometimes necessary, to visualize this stone that interrupts the road of destination.

Flesh tones, on the other hand, refer to the different nuances within the actual color. Within the black, brown, red, yellow or white skin color, there are several subtle combinations, or nuances, that are known as flesh tones. Like the yin and yang philosophy, many colors come together to make one color, and in one color exists many different colors. For example, from a distance we see White complexion, Black complexion, Brown complexion or Red complexion. When we look closer, we start to notice the blues, pinks, yellows, purples and all the subtle nuances ranging from muted to intense mixtures, warm and cool tones. It’s just like looking at a computer image. If you reduce or scale down a picture to a smaller size, the picture will get as fine and detailed as possible. But enlarge it and you will see big squares of pixels.
