Brian Christopher DuPree celebrates images that invite the viewer to step into the artwork and experience a sense of joy, peace, freedom, encouragement, meditation, and thought.As a fine art painter, Brian creates representational images celebrating light, life, and color. A talented artist for more than 20 years, he has been painting for most of his life, and in the last 10 years has focused exclusively on fine art. His talent was recognized early, when at age ten he won a prize for portraiture, competing against high school students. At twelve he attended a summer art program at the Museum of Fine Arts Florida. At the University of South Florida College of the Arts, he majored in Painting, receiving his Master of Fine Arts. In 2000, he moved to Georgia, where he opened his own art studio. His paintings express emotions using intense and complex color combinations and are inspired by the natural world. More recently, the artist started painting landscapes that emphasize the natural vibrancy and rich colors of the area, some are infused with a tranquil and mysterious beauty.
