In this image, not from the story but my own spin, a degraded daughter of a paralyzed magician returns to the hut where he was sacrificed by African natives. All that is left is his wheelchair and pet chimpanzee. She had no idea that he was her father until after his death. She is shown here contemplating her situation.

I began painting in oils when I was 9 years old. I was fortunate enough to belong to a family that not only understood art but encouraged it. I attended a variety of art schools but mostly learned from observing other artists and visiting museums. I feel that one must try to experience as much as one can out of life, for there lie the seeds of creation. I've always felt that traveling in any form is one of the highest forms of education, and I often reflect on either a place I've been or a situation I've encountered as inspiration for my art.
