Aussi loin que je me souvienne, mon attrait pour le dessin remonte à l'école maternelle. Enfant, par timidité, j'avais tendance à me tenir à l'écart et à observer tout ce qui m'entourait. C'est ce qui a sans doute développé en moi une grande sensibilité. Je m'amusait alors à recopier puis reproduire de mémoire les personnages des bandes dessinées. Je peignais sur la porte ou les murs de ma chambre, sur mes classeurs.

Mes nombreux voyages sont des sources d'inspiration car j'adore rencontrer des gens au modes de vie différents. J'ai commencé à peindre sur châssis au début des années 80 au retour d'un voyage au cours duquel j'avais visité une galerie d'art de peintres haïtiens. J'ai beaucoup apprécié ce style et surtout les couleurs. Pour parfaire ma pratique, j'ai suivi les cours des Ateliers Beaux Arts de la Ville de Paris, puis divers ateliers dans les communes où j'ai résidé. Après avoir suivi  une formation, j'anime des ateliers de médiation artistique et d'Arts plastiques dans ma commune. Je suis présidente de l'association Atelier d'Art en Corbières. 

Les planches des bandes dessinées, la couleur, les voyages, les gens, tout cela fait mon style.
