After training in architecture at the School of Fine Arts in Reims, where he learned pencil drawing, charcoal, washes and perspective, he launched himself, about twenty years ago, into the colors of pastel, watercolour, acrylic, and especially oil to create his first paintings.
He paints in three areas as varied as figurative, abstract and surrealism.
In the figurative part, there are still lifes, landscapes and seascapes, as well as copies of Masters on order.
In the abstract part are made large colored canvases with pictorial expressions combining different materials and techniques.
On the surrealist side, he draws inspiration from the painters Dali or Magritte to name but a few, and tackles humorous or serious social themes, highlighting issues related to the life of our world, while painting an imaginary universe that is personal to him.
Member of several artistic associations, he participates in numerous exhibitions in various public places and galleries.
Bertrand DELOGNE's goal is to share his favorites, by making known various techniques in the three aforementioned fields, while taking pleasure in questioning and surprising the spectator in front of his paintings.
