Dès l’enfance, j'ai su que l’Art occuperait une grande partie de ma vie parce qu’il a été souvent le moyen d’exprimer mes émotions et mes sentiments.
Ma grande passion reste sans nul doute la mer sous toutes les latitudes. La mer me fascine et me captive, c'est parce qu'elle inspire joie et espoir, l'imagination féconde des enfants que nous demeurons face à elle, à tout âge. C’est aussi un travail fastidieux, celui de tenter de retranscrire ce mouvement et ces couleurs lorsque la vague est à son comble et qu’elle va se briser. Ses tableaux sont souvent des œuvres vécues puisqu'elles sont directement inspirées de mes escapades en mer sur mon bateau.
Comme tous les artistes, je souhaite qu’en observant mes toiles une personne ait de la réalité une vue plus étendue, plus profonde. La personne qui regarde un tableau ne donne pas vie, mais entretient la vie de l'oeuvre par l'intérêt et les sentiments qu'il y rattache. L'émotion que le spectateur éprouve est le meilleur gain qu'un artiste garde. Ce que l’on perçoit de ses oeuvres n’est autre que ce qui est en lui. Faire découvrir au public cet univers le ravi. Chaque individu à sa propre réalité, et si grâce à un regard porté sur ses toiles, elle peut émergée, interpellée, alors il est heureux…
