Bernard Ambielle is a contemporary award-winning French painter. His philosophy is less concerned with science and knowledge than it is with being and self-knowledge. It has led to the idealized, wonderful, deliciously nostalgic atmospheres that his works have produced, their meticulousness, and success. Because of the artist's sensitivity, which enables him to record impalpable emotions and signs that are frequently connected to the collective unconscious, Bernard Ambielle emphasizes that the artist has a special responsibility to transmit and make these signs as understandable as possible through his artistic expression and technique.

Bernard Ambielle was born in 1951, in France. His works are in public and private collections in Europe, Asia, and in North America. He won several awards and prizes including: five times winner of the "Foreign Artist" award at the International Naive Art Fair at Varenna, Como Lake, Italy; 1st prize for painting at the "Salon Art 2000" Fair in Colmar, France and 1st prize at the "Caux Country colors" Fair in Normandy, France.
