je vis et travaille à mon atelier situé dans une zone naturelle protégée de l'Ile d'Oléron. J'ai exposé mon travail depuis 40 ans dans de nombreuses galeries à paris, en province et à l'étranger (Portugal Suede Australie) ainsi qu'à mon atelier qui est ouvert aux visiteurs toute l'année.
Mon travail se situe dans la veine surréaliste.Je déplace les objets de leur environnement habituel.Chaque élément de la toile est traité de manière réaliste mais l'ensemble forme une image qui ne l'est plus.Entre le réel et l'imaginaire. Exemple: Une petite barque sur le rebord d'une fenêtre, une cerise bleue parmi d'autres cerises, la mer venant mourir sur les touches d'un piano etc... Je travaille sur quelques thèmes principaux: la musique, les barques, les masques, les chats, les papillons, les toupies, les cartes à jouer...
J'essaie comme le suggérait Magritte de faire de la poése visible.Mes toiles vont du format 3 figures (27x22cm) au format 80 figures (146x114cm) et leur prix de 550€ à 3050€
