Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as the old saying goes! In creating my paintings, I strive to portray the beauty that is all around us, that we sometimes miss, in our busy lives. The nude is a wonderful subject, but still taboo in many societies. All of us, if we are not externally "beautiful" still have an inner beauty, which is why some of my nudes are not particularly beautiful, but you are still able to see their strengths. With my abstract works, I am really inviting the viewer to go on an imaginative journey, and each viewer will hopefully take something form each painting that they view, to brighten their inner spirit.

The artist at work in his Bangkok studio. He usually has two or three paintings that he is working on at any one time. With his canvas suitably prepared, usually with a rough texture, Moreau spends many hours perfecting a drawing of the subject to be painted, ensuring that the perspective and proportional representation is faithful to the original subject. Utilising a wet on wet technique allows Moreau to blend the colours together seamlessly, creating a beautiful painting.
