He was born in Istanbul in 1968. He graduated from Mimar Sinan University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramic Engineering in 1993, which he entered in 1986. He continued his painting studies with the encouragement of his teachers throughout his education years. He started his first professional oil paintings in 1994. He continued until 2009. After having to take a break from her works for a while, she continued her works again in 2017. All the works of Beklan Kızılçay, who draws attention with her surreal style works, between 1994 and 2009, attracted attention and were sold by art lovers.

Surrealism His interest in painting began to emerge in the mid-1990s. The narrative style of the Surrealist movement and the way it does not limit the imagination to describe a composition, using materials, objects, nature, people and everything in the universe in line with the imagination were the reasons that attracted him to the Surrealist movement. His paintings generally depict human nature and experiences. He creates works that generally have perspective and depth, and transitions from plan to perspective and from perspective to plan, without straying too far from realism by blending expectations and relationships with natural factors. He progresses through similarities with natural and artificial objects. Color harmony is very important to him in his paintings. He generally uses natural and pastel colors in many of his works. When using tones, he prefers to emphasize a special color that stands out for him. In his works, he generally reflects different stories like those in our lives. It is important for the artist that each work is depicted with a different fiction and narrative style and has its own color harmony.
