Batsheva Gozland, born in 1974, lives and works in Israel, where she explores geometric abstraction through her marker drawings on paper. Originally a ceramicist, Batsheva recently discovered drawing, beginning by transposing her decorative motifs from ceramic to paper. Influenced by the energy and spontaneity of Jackson Pollock, she creates works that seek to resonate with the soul of each viewer.

Batsheva wants her art to touch the depths of being, to awaken emotions, provoke laughter and tears, and to become a bridge of sharing between individuals. Her work invites total immersion, offering a limitless journey through the shapes and lines that make up her works. She aspires to an enriching exchange with those who cross her artistic path, feeding off opinions and feedback on her work to continue to evolve.
