It's been a while since my last update. I am sorry about that. There's been a lot going on. I pray that everyone has been safe and COVID free. Big shout out to my new followers, loyal collectors, and especially my continued supporters! 2020 has definitely been a great year for learning new techniques, trying experimental art, creating new designs, and just trying to get back to God!

Greetings Artists and Art Lovers,
Due to current artistic market pricing and the recent outside appraisal of my work ranging from 2016 to 2019, on November first, my prices will be increasing between 600-900%. This is to reflect my body of work's worth, it's originality, my time, my handicap due to ALS, my cause for the ALS Association, and the emotional/personal accounts that amalgamate together to bring each piece to life. Each work of art can be considered deeply moving and highly emotional for the viewer if time is taken to investigate the details and understand the development of the visual power which fuels each work.

I feel that, as an artist with a severe handicap, I should not be treated any differently than any other artist. I let my work speak for itself and allow it to tell a short, but powerful narrative of its own. My work can be clarified and understood best by reading and comprehending the title of the work first, as a clue to how to approach each piece. If then, the viewer has trouble making the connectivity between the written word and visual imagery, I willingly invite the viewer to manifest their interpretation of what they are witnessing. 

My artwork will speak to different people from different backgrounds and experiences, no matter where they have come from. Even though I have a specific idea, story and emotionally turbulent theme in mind, when I create, I get an abundant amount of joy knowing that after making contact with each piece, the viewer has had something change inside, hopefully causing some sort of outward manifestation of emotional outpour. Isn't that why artists become slaves to their work, to begin with?

I know it's been a while since my last post and I apologize. But it hasn't been wasted time. I have been steadily growing my Pinterest fanbase, which is now over 14 thousand viewers a month. I've also started a Tumblr Blog where I post helpful and motivational content for those who are interested in the visual arts. Plus I have been cleaning up my Facebook page to reflect my Tumblr content to broaden my audience. And now for the best news of all. I have finished my book and it is being sent to my publisher this afternoon. I should have a proof copy back in 5 business days. So, all and all, I've had a pretty busy few weeks. Hello Fellow Artists & Art Lovers,

Its Tuesday and I believe that I will get a lot accomplished today. Don't know why Tuesday is so special this week, but I'm gonna roll with it. I got many things completed yesterday in the book. I hope you all are as excited as I am about my book release. I get to share "HOPE" with everyone, everywhere in print. There's just something about holding a physical book in your hands, turning the pages and feeling the texture of the paper. Oh man, it gives me the chills thinking about it. Come on people, I know I'm not the only one who feels that way about books and don't get me started on office supplies or art supply stores. Ok, enough weird for now. Gotta go work on the remainder of the book. I hope you all have a great day and create wonderful works of art. My next post will include a short review on one of many artist documentaries I have been watching, complete with a link so you can watch it as well.

It turns out that my wife, Felicia, is pretty good at putting me back on track. She is my muse, my best friend and my everything! Hello Fellow Artists & Art Lovers,

In remembrance of those who were affected by the tragic terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, I want to say thank you to the brave men and women who risked their lives, to the many that selflessly sacrificed themselves, to the families with lost loved ones and to the people all over the world who acted upon instinct to give a helping hand. Your strength, determination and countless hours of exhausting labor should be a shining example to every man, woman, and child globally.

A horrible tragedy brought the world together that day. Let's not wait for another reality shattering event to occur to embrace humankind as your family. Show compassion to those in need, teach our young ones that there are other means of fixing problems, other than war and violence. Respect others opinions and ideas, we all have a right to contribute to the collective consciousness of our existence. Don't be selfish with frivolous possessions, instead make wise investments and share like we did when we were young and didn't know what greed was.

You may find that this idea of worldwide unity to be nothing more than a pipe dream, but I ask you this, "When tragedy strikes your small little corner of the world, will it be you who walks away or will you tread forward into uncertainty and make a difference?"

 Just a little something to mull over as you go on about your day...

Today just wasn't deemed as a day to continue work on my book. All the work I did yesterday was uploaded to my Dropbox account, for me to use on my secondary computer today. To my surprise, all the files didn't make it. Not to worry though, I'll be back to work on the book bright and early tomorrow on my primary computer. Hello Fellow Artists & Art Lovers,

I hope everyone has been well and working hard on their artistic endeavors. My newest project that I've been working nonstop on is an art book, being self-published by myself, and is called Embracing the Darkness. It will explore more in-depth about my struggle with ALS, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, and how I channel my feelings, ideas, and emotions through my Abstract and Figurative Expressionist art.

I also want to thank you all for enjoying and sharing my work, with people all over the world. It means so much to be validated as an international artist and to be a part of such a great community of talented, creative and like-minded individuals. Your acceptance of me into the world of art makes my hard work worthwhile. It makes having to deal with ALS much easier and gives me an outlet to share my life with so many different cultures while learning more about parts of the world I may never see.
