Bahar Ari Dellenbach is a contemporary award-winning Turkish artist. The artist mostly uses ceramic materials and tries to shape concepts and to catch instant feelings with the expressions through her works. Sometimes by exaggerating the scene and using symbolic forms, she tries to create a dramatic or humorous atmosphere. She uses simple colors and matt surfaces, mostly the combinations of white, black and red colors.
Bahar Ari Dellenbach was born in Turkey, where she graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics. Dellenbach has participated in several exhibitions in Turkey, USA, Spain, Argentina, Croatia, Romania and Dominican Republic. She has also received 4 awards: “Award of Excellence” of The 2nd Cluj International Ceramics Biennale, “Achievement Award” of The 25th Istanbul Contemporary Artists Exhibition, “Mention Award” of The 2nd Mosaic Biennial of Argentina International Modern Ceramics Museum and “Special Award” of The 8th Altin Testi Ceramics Competition. She lives and works in Switzerland.
