Biography
Son of Spanish immigrant parents,both from Atarfe,Granada.Geoff first drew breath in Brighton UK,1952.Self taught,self acclaimed ''Free Flow'' artist...his diversity in art styles,technique and composition are astounding,very unique, sublime ,in depth and truly very interesting...He was inspired to create art,at a very young age as his father loved visiting art museums,galleries in Brighton and London.His love of Velasquez and Goya gave Geoff his initial awareness and inspiration...his ''artistic lauchpad'' ... Geoff's work arises through spontanious application images,to detailed works. Techniques and themes vary...Portraits,landscapes,satirical, symbolic,3D transformations with virtual reality themes to ''inner self analysis'' images. His Spanish heritage had a diverse effect on the young Cervantes,.creativity inspired by joint Spanish-English life and cultural influences..being a 60's teenager and wanting to experience life to the full...His art reflects a ''unique'' visual journey of his life's experiences ,thoughts and expression.revealing his artistic development up to present day..Living with MS and having physical limitations, his technique and style is changing constantly...To fully understand and enjoy Geoff's art,you must above all, be curious,have a great ''sense of humour'' and an open mind.....enjoy...axis.

Your work is quite remarkable. And it is inspiring that your painting surpasses your MS.
Many Spaniards, ex-pat or otherwise, must share some bit of the fantastic and dreamlike. Certainly your painting reflect this. My grandparents were all Spaniards, from Cantabria, Galicia and the Canaries. There are marvelous stories expressed your works and no doubt also hidden within them. I especially am taken with your Congratulations Cervantes and Propellors.

I have done several paintings incorporating the Easter Island statues... just now realized that you had done work with them years earlier than I. The history of that island intrigues me.
