Biography
Avik Chakravorty is a passionate photographer whose journey into this art began by pure chance when he started exploring nature which naturally attracts him. This path quickly transformed him into a passionate photographer, capturing the abundant beauty of nature through the lens of his cell phone, with trees as the central motif.
For Avik, trees offer unique shapes and patterns, creating captivating compositions with their branches intertwined against the sky backdrop. Over the course of an entire year, he put together an exhaustive collection of photographs taken in and around Kolkata, India.
Avik's photographic works have been noticed by the Academy of Fine Arts and selected for exhibitions in several art galleries. His artistic approach is marked by a ceaseless quest for beauty, which he finds in every street corner and in every detail of the nature that surrounds him.
Avik Chakravorty considers himself a born photographer, with the instinct and talent to spot what might turn out to be magnificent when captured by his camera.

I am greatly honored and privileged knowing that there are people out there who are appreciative of my artwork. I thank you all. Accolades in the form of a veritable fan following are a source of great encouragement and indeed inspiration for me as I continually strive in my endeavour to produce quality and exemplary artwork. My artwork represents an uniqueness that is appealing both to the layman and art connoisseurs alike on both sides of the spectrum. Still photography which is my genre and indeed forte or niche came naturally to me and I am one of those photographers, still a novice who is attracted to nature in all its hue and colour. I try to seek and find the nuanced beauty of nature.
