Aurore Nugeron

Aurore Nugeron is a contemporary French painter. Initially drawn to styling and landscaping, her artistic lineage took a turn when she picked up the brushes of her grandfather, a painter and gallery owner, about fifteen years ago. This familial influence laid the foundation for her exploration of the visual arts.

Recently, Aurore Nugeron showcased her artistic prowess at esteemed venues such as the Salon d'Automne on the Champs Elysées, the Salon des Artistes Français at the Grand Palais, as well as international exhibitions in Shanghai and Bangkok. Her participation in these exhibitions underscores the recognition and reach of her work beyond national borders.

Inspired by the Fauvist school, Nugeron retains the luminous palette characteristic of the movement. However, she infuses her art with a touch of extreme sobriety akin to the style of Nicolas de Staël. Carefully selecting luminous or muted tones, she navigates through a spectrum of colors, including blue, green, yellow, and pink. The application of lines with a knife serves as a distinctive technique, allowing Nugeron to translate the world's sweetness, sincerity, joy of living, and vibrant energy into her creations.
