La bioluminescence est la capacité de certains organismes vivants à produire et émettre de la lumière de manière autonome. Dans cette œuvre, Atelier Cléophée s’empare de ce phénomène pour poursuivre sa recherche sur l’énergie primordiale du vivant et la manière dont elle traverse la matière. À travers l’utilisation du pastel — médium qui, par sa finesse, permet de révéler les nuances les plus subtiles — l’artiste construit des architectures de couleur pure, des surfaces vibrantes, presque instables, qui interrogent nos liens aux éléments à l’ère de l’Anthropocène. Bioluminescence s’inscrit dans une pratique où la lumière devient trace, empreinte, tentative de captation sensible d’un monde en mutation.
