I spent my childhood in the Crimea. During her school years, she also studied at a music school, in a ballet class (with M. P. Gradovskaya and P. S. Vitenkov) and in a drama studio (with director A. P. Tsvetukhin); she performed on stage in ballet and drama performances. She starred as Gali Purygina in the film "Friends-Comrades" (directed by V. P. Pavlovsky, the Yalta branch of the Gorky Film Studio). She graduated from the F. A. Vasiliev Art School (teachers-G. I. Churkina, V. I. Buryakovsky, D. M. Zhuravlev).
Since 1964, after graduating from secondary school No. 5 named after A. P. Chekhov in Yalta, she worked as a colorist at a toy factory.
In 1965, she entered the Faculty of Applied Arts of the Moscow Textile Institute. Since 1970, after graduating from the institute with a degree in "artist", she worked in the experimental laboratory of the Zagorsk knitting factory, where she developed a women's and children's assortment, participated in the introduction of flax into knitting production. Since 1971, she has been an artist at the Rostricotazhprom laboratory; she developed an industrial assortment, went to enterprises. In 1972-1978, she was a member of the art councils of the Ministry of Textile Industry of the RSFSR and the Ministry of Light Industry of the USSR.
In 1978-1982, he was a senior teacher of drawing and composition at the Moscow Technological Institute of Light Industry.
In 1979-1982, she led a studio of decorative and applied art, in which folk art ("Moscow replica") was the basis of classes with painted clay toys and painted wood.
In 1983-2006, she worked as an artist at the Design and Art Combine, the Gzhel Combine, taught art disciplines at the Children's Rehabilitation Center "Maria's Children", the Ryazan Art School, taught at other educational institutions, organized an art school attended by more than 80 students of all ages, taught drawing, painting, composition, fine plastics, art history.
L. S. Sergeeva's students participated in 89 art exhibitions in Russia and abroad, where they became laureates and received 250 awards.
Since 2006, he continues to make scientific reports on the subject of artistic creativity, exhibits his paintings at collective and personal exhibitions, conducts master classes.
