The main vault door is 22 tons of steel and can withstand a direct hit from a 2 kiloton nuclear warhead. The Depository has housed a copy of the Magna Carta, the Hungarian crown jewels, the Crown of St. Stephen, the U. S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and various other historical documents from all over the world.
And the legend says that there is a special room somewhere in the vault that does not house gold or artifacts such as cited above, but houses, instead, the Holy Grail, the Ark of the Covenant (complete with a “Do Not Touch” sign), satellite pictures proving that the Ararat Anomaly is Noah’s Ark, and the True Cross, complete with dried blood that has been analyzed as consisting of several strains of DNA, one of them encoded not on a double helix, but a triple helix.

As an artist of Romanian origin residing in France, I am self-taught and deeply influenced by the complexities of life, my personal emotions, and spirituality. In addition, my art has also been featured on the walls of renowned institutions like the Elysee Palace and NASA Houston.
A Personal Approach
As an artist, I prefer working in series, each of which is centered around a specific theme that communicates a message or even a history lesson. A series usually comprises 11-to-22 paintings, all created within a year. These themes are unique to each series, and so is the technique utilized, which often gives the impression that they were painted by different artists.
My style of painting has been described as "intelligent painting" due to its innovative nature. I use a range of materials to create my pieces, including acrylics, oils, gold or silver leaf, paper, and coarse paste. I also employ a variety of tools, including brushes, sponges, palette knives, and even my fingers, to bring my ideas to fruition.
