My name is Armine Manukyan. As a graphic artist and web designer, I bridge the traditional artistic heritage of my homeland with the digital frontier. Currently in my fourth year at the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts, I'm cultivating my passion for computer graphics while being surrounded by the rich cultural tapestry that has inspired Armenian artists for generations.Art isn't just my profession – it's my way of seeing the world. Growing up in Armenia, I was always captivated by the intricate patterns in our medieval manuscripts, the bold lines of our cross-stones (khachkars), and the way light plays across Mount Ararat. These elements naturally influence my work, whether I'm designing websites or creating digital artwork. The fusion of traditional Armenian artistic motifs with modern design principles allows me to create something uniquely contemporary while honoring my cultural roots.What draws me to design is its power to solve problems beautifully. In web design, every pixel has a purpose, every color choice tells a story, and every layout guides the viewer on a journey. It's like choreographing a dance between functionality and aesthetics. The digital canvas offers endless possibilities, and there's something magical about transforming abstract ideas into visual experiences that can touch people's lives.I find particular joy in the iterative nature of design – the way each project teaches me something new and pushes me to evolve as an artist. The vibrant arts community at the Academy has helped shape my vision, encouraging me to experiment with different styles and techniques while developing my unique artistic voice.
