Armelle Cailly is a contemporary French painter. Her watercolor paintings are inspired by the landscapes and lights of the Emerald Coast: from Cancale to Erquy. The artist stated that The Emerald Coast serves as her primary source of inspiration. She attempts to represent the continuously shifting viewpoints between Mont Saint Michel and Cap Fréhel as she walks and observes the tides.
She also uses acrylic paint on a linen canvas to create the objects that depict the mood of the beaches, such as the La Salinette cabins in Saint-Briac or the white and blue canvases of Dinard.
