Né à Bayonne le 07 Mars 1964, il passe toute sa petite enfance à Bidarray entouré des différents peintres venus immortaliser ce village bucolique de l'arrière Pays Basque.Très jeune, il est fasciné par la peinture de Ramiro Arrué qu'il rencontre sur les lieux a Bidarray.
Il consacre des heures entière à fréquenter ces artistes et observer leurs techniques.
Son engouement et sa fascination pour ce milieu seront les éléments déclencheurs qui le guideront vers ce chemin artistique pour devenir lui aussi, à son tour, peintre.
En 1986 il est diplômé de l'institut de Design et D'aménagement de D'Espace à Bordeaux (IDAE) où il côtoie Floréal Otéro, peintre Bordelais. Puis il peaufine sa recherche picturale dans l'atelier de Louis Frédéric Dupuis, artiste Bayonnais.
Fasciné par la lumière du pays basque ainsi que les us et coutumes du Pays Basque, il sera toujours en quête de retranscrire une réalité poétique.
Sollicité pour exposer durant l'inauguration du centre culturel du Catharre, il déclinera l'invitation pour des raisons professionnelles, ce qui n'entravera nullement à son évolution et l'intérêt porté à ses oeuvres appréciés par de nombreux collectionneurs avertis ( USA, Château bordelais, etc ).
