Biagio Governali Corleone, sculptor, was born in Palermo to Corleonesi parents. After having stayed in Florence, Milan, Rome, Caserta, Messina, he lives and works in Palermo and its province. He carries out classical and artistic studies graduating in law. His art fits into a context in which different hypotheses and conflicting interests of political and social formulas and cultural ideologies collide. From the whole of Biagio Governali's production, a versatility of contents, an expressive vitality, an unconditioned ideology, a participation in real life with the right seriousness and valid coherence appears evident (by Giuseppe Virgadamo, from "Inventario Corleonese", Palladium , Antonio Marchese).
