This painting is part of the Industrial Wall Art series and represents an ancient fragment of an old wall, on which the patina of time has left its mark.
The monochromia of the painting, in the shade of silver cement grey, with reflections in certain areas of dusty white and black, combined with uneven texture obtained through various painting techniques, gives the viewer the feeling of a three-dimensional effect, with the desire to touch its surface, to feel the crunchy texture.
The painting is beautiful in its simplicity, no vivid colours come to distract your attention, leaving you in peace to admire its shapes, your eyes trying to see different symbols of these shapes.
Admired horizontally, the imagination makes out the shape of a majestic mountain within a pine trees forest, a lake at the foot of the mountain and a shadow of a man with a small child, who seems to be the master of that ancestral landscape.
What can be more beautiful when you discover the images hidden in an abstract painting by yourself?!
The painting will be signed only on the back, so that it can be displayed both horizontally and vertically.
For this painting were used: professional Italian canvas, professional acrylic colours, knife painting technique, impasto and brush, applied a triple layer of transparent varnish (gloss & matt for a dramatic effect, as an old piece) to protect the painting from external factors, profile painted 3 cm, which allows the display of the painting without framing, pinewood chassis.
The painting is made in a simple chromatic structure of black, white and light silver, mixed in a palette of greys, with fine traces of bright iridescences silver powder for keeping alive the movement of the picture.
