"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. Related themes
Armin Andreas Pangerl malt seit Kindesbeinen an vornehmlich autodidaktisch abstrakt. Daneben malt er seit einem Aufenthalt in der Psychiatrie konzeptionell sowie nach Outsider Art Manier. Dabei entstehen oft Serien und Reihen von Bilder, die sich thematisch gleichen. Jedoch lehnt er Wiederholungen in seinen Bildmotive bis auf das "one million projekt" ab. Hierbei sind bisher etwa 400 000 Kreuze (Tuschepinsel) auf 53 Bilder gemalt worden. Neben diesem Hauptwerk sind um die 800 Arbeiten auf Papier entstanden. Darüber hinaus bilden seine Skizzen und Zeichnungen ein Kontroverses Universum von Gedanken und Übergängen der Bildformulierungen. Absurdes steht gleichrangig wie Banales. Oftmals werden Textstellen und Gedankensplitter in der Form von Assoziationen zu dem Gemalten eingebaut die das Gegenwärtige reflektieren.
Seit seinem Speiseröhrenkrebs arbeitet Pangerl an Zeichnungen und Texten. Inzwischen hat er einige Bücher veröffentlicht und ist in mehreren Privat und öffentlichen Sammlungen aufgenommen worden. Er lebt zurückgezogen. Ohne große Öffentlichkeit.
Seine Texte und Bücher sind in der Ich-Perspektive geschrieben und vermitteln einen Eindruck über die momentane innere Befindlichkeit.
Ein weiterer Motor war Musik. Pangerl brachte sich eigenständig das Gitarre- und Klavierspielen mit 13 Jahren bei, früh ist die Fähigkeit eigene Kompositionen zu schaffen vorhanden. Und mit 16 Jahren trat er in Clubs mit seiner eigenen Band auf. Die Band nannte sich KSC und wurde zu einer Institution in seiner Heimat. Leider sind die wenigen Ton-Aufnahmen aus dieser Zeit verloren gegangen. Nur wenige Bilder gibt es davon.
Er lebt und arbeitet als EU-Rentner und Schwerbehinderter in Lahr/Schwarzwald.
Pangerl hat eine starke Sehbehinderung auf dem linken Auge und musste sich in der künstlerischen Auseinandersetzung das Räumliche in seinen Bildern hart erarbeiten.
