J'ai toujours dessiné. Je le fais par amour, pour le grand apaisement que cela me procure. et aussi pour le plaisir de voir apparaître et interagir entre elles les formes et les couleurs avec lesquelles je travaille. La curiosité occupe aussi une place importante dans mon cheminement et dans mes choix. Le dessin ne se révélant vraiment qu'à la toute fin, la curiosité me tient en haleine et me nourrit pendant tout le processus de création. C'est aussi une façon autre de m'exprimer - moi, l'extravertie! -, silencieusement certes, mais pas moins entière ni, cela va de soi, colorée! Et ça me plaît.

J'ai d'abord exploré le dessin figuratif (les formes du corps), au graphite surtout, avant de me tourner vers l'abstrait, par défi et pour la liberté qu'il offre autant dans la réalisation que dans l'interprétation.    

Autodidacte en partie, j'ai suivi au fil des ans plusieurs cours de dessin (dont le dessin abstrait) auprès du Centre des arts visuels de Westmount.
