Anna Gigon is a contemporary Polish painter. She sometimes paints abstractly and other times in figurative style. Her favorite topic in the figurative part is femininity and its relationship to space. She uses the woman as the subject of traditional oil painting narrative settings.
Gigon enjoys the concept of letting the viewer decide how to interpret the narrative. Her intention is to draw the audience into the situation, which serves as the foundation for a performance.
