Angelo Ribeiro is a contemporary Portuguese sculptor. His plastic language is built on metal and stone technologies. Ribeiro loves the dialogue of these materials. Since 1995, he has been developing his artistic activity and has held numerous art exhibitions in galleries and art fairs.
Ribeiro won various awards for his work: Prize for Sculpture at the National Competition of Plastic Arts in Penedono, Penedono, 2006; Honorable Mention in the National Prize of Sculpture - homage to Aureliano Lima - V. N. Gaia; Argo Prize 2003, CERTAME, National Competition of Ceramic Carving and Metals, Gondomar etc.
Angelo Ribeiro was born in 1967, in Portugal, where he graduated in Fine Arts - Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. His art can be found in both public and private collections throughout Portugal.
