Angelina Stancheva is a contemporary Bulgarian artist. She graduated from the University of Veliko Tarnovo “St. Cyril and St. Methodius” with a degree in Monumental and Decorative Arts. She has created decorative mosaics and frescoes for public buildings.

She has also worked in designing stage costumes for folk dance groups and ensembles, with a strong interest in Bulgarian ethnography and traditional crafts clearly reflected in her work. She has taught at a children's art school and has lectured in the Fashion program at South-West University “Neofit Rilski” in Blagoevgrad. She has also created collections of woven and knitted clothing.

In recent years, she has been actively involved in textile art — weaving and textile collage. Her panels are made with woolen yarn, which she hand-dyes, often using natural plant-based dyes. The color combinations are inspired by the traditional palette of Bulgarian ethnographic heritage.

The artist Angelina Stancheva has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions at both national and regional levels.

In 2019, she was awarded first prize for applied arts at the regional exhibition "Struma."

Her works have been exhibited in Spain, Italy, and Germany, where they have found a receptive market.

Her solo exhibition of handwoven textile art, titled "Woven Dreams", was entirely purchased by Italian tourists.

In 2004, she founded the biennial exhibition “Angelina and Friends”, under the motto “I respect the world of others.” Artists from various regions of Bulgaria participate, drawn to the idea and joining voluntarily.

Angelina Stancheva also creates custom-made textile panels.
