Angelika Poels is a contemporary visual artist based in the Netherlands. She began her artistic education at the age of 21, earning her Propedeuse in drawing in Tilburg before continuing her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Arendonk. Throughout her education and beyond, Angelika has committed herself to ongoing development, working independently in her own studio to explore and refine her artistic practice.

Angelika’s work is characterized by the use of layered paint to create spatiality and depth, allowing her to bring her compositions to life. She is driven by a constant desire to evolve, exploring new artistic paths while remaining grounded in her past experiences and techniques. Her versatility in working across various disciplines and materials is central to her creative process, as it allows her to maintain both her artistic freedom and a continuous flow of inspiration.
