The journey of ANDY LE SAUCE, IMMERSIVE ARTIST!*Andy was born on 12.08.43 near Lorient ( Brittany) under the British bombs chasing the Nazis . He will spend all his childhood in the middle of fish (his parents being fishmongers! )Associate Professor and Psychomotor , it is also , among others , Diving and Apnea Instructor .In addition, before becoming a painter, Andy was also a high-level sportsman:*French team champion.de military pentathlon 1966*14 Freediving World Records and a bronze medal at the 2° World Team Championships.More than 70 years of participation in World Masters Games (400m track and field) in particular (1'23").
Since 2008, Andy has added a new challenge: PAINT! . Painting, finding and sharing all these underwater atmospheres, all these blues, which have it , after 14,000 dives in all the seas of the World , so marked!Since 2000, Andy (Fan du Grand Bleu, one of the many "children" of Jacques Mayol , of which he beat all the records - except the mythical "No Limit -at 105 m), Andy therefore tackled the defense of the marine environment with this ambitious project on the theme: THE SEA AND ALL ITS BEAUTY/THE SEA IS SABOTAGED.about thirty ( large ) canvases show the positive side of the oceans, the beauties, the research etc while others, usually 150/150 cm ,, reveal us here and there, on one the oil spills, on another the white tides , green algae, noise pollution, etc etc etc and to top it all, a synthesis of 4.50 m high by 7.50 m ( 15 canvases in fact of 150/150 mounted in a puzzle way on wood frame) invites us to become aware of all the malfunctions, with a didactic aim
ART and SPORT therefore! A whole program! And especially today: ART and MARINE ECOLOGY!!! Ambitious project that will have to travel in its educational perspective .
