Там же преподавал с 1986 по 1988 гг. С 1988 года живу и работаю в г. Ярославле. Член Союза художников России с 1991 года. Награждён трижды дипломами СХ России, Почётной грамотой мэра г. Ярославля, Почётной грамотой губернатора Ярославской области, Почётной грамотой Управления культуры мэрии г. Ярославля. В 2010 году удостоен звания "Заслуженный художник России". 2013 г. - Золотая медаль Союза художников России. 2016 год - памятная медаль Русской православной церкви за участие в росписях церквей на святой горе Афон в Греции. С 2018 года - действительный член Петровской Академии наук и искусств г. Санкт-Петербург. 2023 год - Почётный знак губернатора Ярославской области им. А.П. Мельгунова. 

Участник многочисленных областных, региональных и всероссийских выставок.
