Self-taught artist with a deep passion for traditional crafts and creative expression. From an early age, I have been captivated by materials that carry history and strength, such as marble and wood. For me, art is more than a profession; it is a way of expressing emotions, values, and memories.
My artistic journey began with marble carving, a material of eternal durability and spiritual weight. Over the past 20 years, my work with marble has taught me patience and reverence for the craft. I have created pieces that have withstood the test of time, adorning various spaces with their timeless aesthetic.
In the last two years, I have turned my focus to wood carving, a medium that has allowed me to explore new dimensions of creativity. The warmth and organic nature of wood inspire me to shape ideas that come to life through its natural textures.
In addition to my sculpting, I have contributed to the restoration of historic buildings, combining traditional artistry with the preservation of cultural heritage. I have also worked in iconography, infusing my work with a spiritual element that honors Greek tradition and religious values.
My creations are not confined by the limitations of materials. Whether it's bringing out the character of a piece of wood or carving a marble sculpture that could endure for 20 centuries, my art is a continuous dialogue between the old and the new, the tangible and the intangible, the ephemeral and the eternal.
