Andrea Collemaggio è nato a Terni, Italia, il 08.03.1973 dove risiede e lavora. La sua professione è quella di Agente Assicurativo ed esprime la sua passione per l’arte dipingendo da autodidatta curioso. Riprodurre oggetti, paesaggi industriali e personaggi di fantasia, consente di trovare uno spazio vitale rigenerante tra molteplici impegni della vita quotidiana. Pitturare è quindi un atto creativo  di meditazione finalizzata a far fluire energie psichiche per osservarle e vivere il presente.

Sui progetti delle nature morte e del lavoro confida:

’’ … i vasi simboleggino l’arrestarsi della vita, la natura che si blocca in una profonda  contemplazione. Ciascun vaso evoca le sfumature della natura umana: sanguigno, flemmatico, razionale, schivo.  

I dipinti con paesaggi industriali e quelli che ritraggono artigiani e operai rappresentano la virtù, cioè il lavoro, il perfezionamento dell’uomo, la costruzione delle competenze anche come collettiva evoluzione generazionale."  

L’essere umano è imperfetto ma anche perfettibile, si distingue dai più sofisticati dispositivi tecnologici attraverso cose come l’emotività, l’esaltazione, la malattia e ancora in generale per tutti quegli elementi ritenuti “inutili” secondo l’efficacia di un robot impeccabile e che ispira sempre la riduttiva denominazione umana di “professionale ed efficiente”. La forza e completezza dell'essere umano è e sarà sempre l’individualità, la spontaneità, la creatività e ovviamente l’errore anche nelle opere d'arte.
