I noticed that I like bad guys. Both in life and in pictures. That cassowary, now here - another "harmful" bird - cormorant.
Why harmful? Because we people decided so. Cormorants love to eat and they catch a lot of fish for this. As do people. This is such an interspecific struggle. Pines are also dying from the droppings of cormorants. But instead of pines, oaks grow.
What do people do in retort?
Destroy nests with chicks.
Scare the cormorants with rockets. In the morning the birds return, find cooled eggs, incubate them for a month, but the chicks never appear.
And some "people", finding nests, with babies, brutally cut off their small beaks.
Question: so who is harmful?
And will the day come when this “who” will finally stop perceiving the world around him through the prism of his own “Ego” and labeling “mine - someone else's”, “like - dislike”?
The painting is framed in a wooden frame.

My name is Volha Milashevich. Thank you for visiting my page.

I started painting in 2014. I started my art with watercolors and pastels, but then I realized that oil gave me more freedom. The combination of brushes and a palette knife gives my painting a unique combination of contrast, fluidity, depth and texture.

I love experimenting with color and color combinations, looking at them in perfect nature.

Nature occupies a dominant position in my painting.

Natural forms are very inspiring - trees, mountains, rocks. Everything that surrounds me can evoke a response inside. A wrecked boat in dried Asturian mud. A leaning hut between the autumn hills. Burdock flower in the sun in the old grandmother's garden. The rays themselves or the shade of color generated by them.

With the help of paints and a brush, I explore the theme of impermanence of natural phenomena and objects.

A special place in my art is occupied by works dedicated to the sky and clouds. Clouds are a symbol of the fact that every moment of life is unique, and this is its value.

I paint mainly in the style of impressionism and realism. I love plein air painting.

My works are in private collections in Belarus, Russia and Europe.

I am happy to share my art with people all over the world.
