Anamaria Vieira foi se descobrir na escultura ainda na juventude, e tempos depois passou a desenvolver a arte da pintura.
Marcada pelo autodidatismo e insight, num processo surrealista de criação, vai expressar numa perspectiva do cotidiano, os eternos dilemas das relações afetivas, numa constante busca de lapidação de seu eu até os dias atuais. Suas produções são em bronze, resina, resimármore, concreto-celular, cerâmica, chapas de ferro e aço( Inox,Corten). E assim vai despertando olhares diversos, proliferando significações e propiciando que o espectador se identifique com a obra.
"Crio por necessidade interior e acho muito lindo transformar a matéria bruta e amorfa em algo pleno de sentido e sentimento!"
